Jack Moynihan CHL Student Athlete of the Month for September 2019

The Center for Healthful Living (CHL) has recognized Jack Moynihan of the men’s soccer team as the September Student Athlete of the Month. This award recognizes a student athlete's commitment to the motto of the CHL: Educate the Mind and Exercise the Body.

Moynihan is from Grayson, GA and is pursuing a major in Philosophy. He is a two-year member of the men’s soccer team and was named team captain this year. As the team captain, Moynihan has been entrusted with leading the team this year and he has done a great job so far. He not only leads the team on the field but he also leads them off the field as well, serving as a role model for his teammates. He has been a key contributor to the success that the program has had this year and hopes to lead them far into the District Playoffs and then into Nationals.

Outside of soccer, Moynihan is involved in a few clubs. He is currently involved in the Philosophy and Poetry clubs on top of taking a full course load. As a freshman, Moynihan was involved with the Circle K, which is one of the oldest clubs at Oxford. Their mission is to encourage students to take part in service and leadership opportunities.

We are proud to recognize the September Student Athlete of the Month, Jack Moynihan.

Educate the Mind, Exercise the Body.
