Oxford College Athletic Programs earned Honorable Mention All-Academic Team Honors

For the 6th consecutive year, the NJCAA has awarded Oxford College of Emory University athletic programs with academic honors. All of the varsity teams earned over a 3.0 team grade point average.

The women's cross country team won the academic team of the year for their sport.

Qualifying teams must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 to receive honorable mention recognition.  Nominations are submitted by respective institutions.

Eight Oxford programs earned All-Academic status:

Women's Cross Country 3.63

Women's Tennis 3.63

Men's Cross Country 3.46

Women's Golf 3.45

Men's Tennis 3.31

Men's Soccer 3.29

Women's Soccer 3.20

Men's Basketball 3.12

"We are extremely proud of the academic accomplishment from our athletic teams. We know each coach and student-athlete put a lot of hard work into both the classroom and on the field of competition," stated Roderick Stubbs, Athletic Director. "We stress academics first, and the real reward for us is shown through the student-athlete academic success."
