Men's Basketball Captures First Win

Dayton, TN - In their first road game of the year, the Emory Oxford men's basketball team captured their first win with a 78-54 win over Bryan College Reserve Squad. The Eagles improve to 1-2 for the season.

The Eagles had four players in double figures and were led by freshman Shane McCravy who had 21 points and 10 rebounds. Classmate Jack Polzin came of the bench and had 12 points and 7 rebounds. Fellow freshman Myles Johnson produced 11 points and 5 rebounds, while Thomas Powell scored 10 points. McCravy, Johnson, and Powell each had 4 assists to lead the Eagles. 

"This was a good win for us especially heading into a big week," said Head Coach Roderick Stubbs. 

The Eagles will return to action Monday (November 11th) against Emmanuel College Reserve Squad. Tipoff is set for Williams Gym at 7:30PM.
