Men's Basketball Prepares to Compete in First Conference Games

The Emory Oxford men's basketball are set to compete in their first conference games this weekend in North Carolina. The Eagles will play Johnston Community College on Friday (November 15) at 8:30PM. After a one-day break, they will play Central Carolina Community College on Sunday (November 17) at 2:00PM.

The Eagles are riding a two-game win streak, defeating Bryan College Reserve Squad and Emmanuel College Reserve Squad this past week. The Eagles are led by a talented group of freshmen, starting with Shane McCravy who is averaging a double-double with 27.5 points per game (PPG) and a team-high 10.8 rebounds per game (RPG). Jack Polzin is averaging 14.5 PPG and 6.3 RPG. Myles Johnson is scoring 10.5 PPG and leads Oxford with 4.5 assists per game. Thomas Powell enters these contests averaging 10 PPG. 

After this North Carolina trip, The Eagles will return home and play Piedmont College Reserves on Wednesday (November 20) starting at 7:30PM.
