Mildner Clinches Game for Eagles

Emory Club took an early lead against the Eagles, but Oxford responded in terrific fashion with a Chris Schwaiger corner forcing an own goal and then Schwaiger himself, scoring his ninth goal of the season on an assist from sophomore David Dill.

The game looked like it would end with an Oxford win when Emory Club equalized with 3 minutes to go, sending the game into overtime. During the first period of overtime sophomore captain Julian Coutinho passed a delightful ball over the top of the static Emory Club defense, allowing freshman Erich Mildner to race clear and to calmly beat the opposition goalkeeper.

The Eagles finished the season with a record of 6 wins, 8 defeats and 1 tie.
