Eagles Travel to Milledgeville to Face GMC Varsity Squad

A night in which the scoreline is truly a misrepresentation of what occurred on the field. For 48 minutes the Eagles defense worked hard to keep the Bulldogs scoreless. Under pressure all night from an extremely talented and creative GMC offense, the Eagles were resilient and determined across the backline.

Led by freshman goalkeeper Thomas Bamforth, who had 8 saves, Oxford refused to be overawed by their Division I opponents. Unfortunately, the constant pressure proved to be too much as the Bulldogs were able to push forward to a win.

The Eagles will be in action in Atlanta for their final game of the season away to Emory Club on October 28th.
