The Eagle's road trip ended with a loss to USC Lancaster in South Carolina. The Eagles were the dominant force for large parts of the game hitting the crossbar and testing the Lancer's goalkeeper but were unable to breakthrough. Two quick goals each half helped the Lancer's as Oxford kept working hard at the Lancer's goal. The Eagle's aggressive offense meant that they were vulnerable defensively allowing USC Lancaster to score twice more to end the game as a contest.
The Eagles return home to Georgia to face USC Salkahatchie at Bivings Field on October 13th.
