The Oxford Men's Soccer Team lost to the Bulldogs of Georgia Military College JV, 4-2, in a game held at Milledgeville, GA.
In the first half, the Eagles gave up 3 unanswered goals putting them in a difficult situation. However, at the start of the second half the Eagles struck early, as sophomore Chike Onyia netted a goal to put the Eagles on the board. In the 63rd minute, freshman Brandon Simon added another goal for the Eagles. The Eagles looked to make another great comeback but the Bulldogs were awarded a penalty kick, which they capitalized on to secure the victory.
The Eagles travel to Union, South Carolina on Saturday, September 29th to face USC Union. Kickoff will be at 12:00 PM.
