Men's Soccer Struggles In Mississippi

Ridgeland, MS - For only the second time this year, the Emory Oxford men's soccer team was defeated by the Bulldogs of Holmes Community College. The Eagles are now 7-2-1 for the season. 

The lone goal of the game was from sophomore Eduardo Barquet who recieved a pass from classmate Jack Moynihan, to net his ninth goal of the season. After scoring the first goal of the game, the Eagles were unable to keep the Bulldogs away from the back of the net. The Bulldogs netted 4 unanswered goals to win 4-1. 

The Eagles will return to action tomorrow (Oct. 13) against East Central Community College. Match will begin at 1:00PM.
