The Oxford College Men's Tennis Team defeated Emmanuel College JV 6 to 3 Friday evening before taking a week off for Spring Break.
Henry Hua and Anurraj Sonawala picked up the only win in doubles action at the # 3 position putting the Eagles behind early by a score of 2 to 1 after doubles.
After a brief pep talk by Coach Hardin, the men came roaring back to take 5 of the 6 singles matches.
Head Coach Hardin commented, "I am really proud of the way they stepped up and played hard in singles to secure the win. We competed hard today and after a slow start we kicked it into gear."
The Eagles next play March 23-25 in the Harford Invitational in Maryland.
The Eagles are looking forward to Spring Break!
