The Oxford Men's Tennis Team won their match against Spartanburg Methodist in dominating fashion with a score of 9-0.
Starting with singles play, Kavi Jain won his match in straight sets 6-0, 6-3. Tate Coston, Julian McCarthy, and Orest Los, did not give up a single game winning their matches 6-0, 6-0. Kevin Na won his match 6-1, 6-1. David George posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory over his opponent while John Funda and Dominick Garcia both had impressive 6-0 victories.
In doubles plays, the Eagles were just as dominant winning all three of their matches. Los and McCarthy won their match 8-2 while Na and Jain had an 8-3 victory. Funda and George topped their opponents with an 8-0 victory.
The Eagles will be back in action Friday, October 12th against the Stormy Petrels of Ogelthorpe University. Matches will begin at 4:00pm.
