Oxford, GA - In afternoon matchup against Wallace State Community College-Hanceville, the Emory Oxford men's tennis team was defeated 8-1. The Eagles are now 2-2 for the fall season.
The lone winner for the Eagles was freshman Jeremy Cai who claimed a sixth singles victory 6-3, 6-2.
"Our team competed hard against a tough opponent," commented Pernilla Hardin, Head Coach. "Wallace State had some very nice players and it was great competition for us."
The Eagles will have one last fall season game next Friday (Oct. 25) against Emmanuel College. Matches will begin at 4:00PM.
