Women's Soccer Defeats Georgia Military

In a rematch of a game earlier this season, which ended in a 3-2 loss for the Eagles, the Oxford Women's Soccer Team defeated the Bulldogs of Georgia Military College 2-0. With this win, the Eagles improve to 8-4-2 for the season.

The Eagles were led by sophomore Tejan Singh and freshman Frankie Moore each scoring one goal. Goalkeeper Rachel Nichols earned her 5th shutout of the season by not allowing a single goal in this contest.

"We had a strong showing from our girls," stated Head Coach Tinna Gallagher. "This was a great game to help us prepare for regionals next weekend."

The Eagles will have one last regular season game this Sunday, October 21st against Middle Georgia State JV. We will be honoring our sophomores during half time. Kickoff will be at 11:00 AM at Bivings Field.
