Moore’s Hat Trick Leads Women’s Soccer to Dominating Win

Oxford, GA - The Emory Oxford women's soccer team defeated the Bulldogs of Georgia Military Reserve Squad 10-0. The Eagles improve to 3-1 for the season.

Sophomore Frankie Moore led the Eagles with a hat trick and an assist. Freshman Ellen Harnisch had 2 goals and 2 assists in the victory. Sophomore Quinn Paulus had a productive night with 1 goal and 2 assists. Fellow sophomore Alejandra Medina-Reyes and freshmen, Emma Alonso, Lauren Huiet, and Willa Demasi each contributed 1 goal. 

Freshmen goalkeepers Brianna Chun and Emma Mutz shared the clean sheet.

This was also the Eagle's Ovarian Cancer Awareness Game and during lunch, the women's team helped raise nearly $200 for Ovarian Cancer Research. 

"It was a great game and great effort from our team tonight," stated Interim Head Coach Harry Kustick. "It was satisfying to be able to play everyone tonight and for them to raise a lot of money for a great cause earlier in the day, it was a great day." 

The Eagles will return to action at South Georgia State College. Kickoff is set for 7:30PM.
