Women’s Soccer Drops First Road Game

Waycross, GA – The Emory Oxford women's soccer team was on the road this Tuesday against the Hawks of South Georgia State College. It was rematch between the two teams and the Eagles won the first game back in August, 1-0. Unfortunately, it was a different outcome for the Eagles as they lost 2-0. Oxford is now 3-2 for the season, while South Georgia State improve to 3-3 for the season.

"Our team competed hard but just came up a little short," stated Interim Head Coach, Harry Kustick.

The Eagles will be back on the road Monday (Sept. 23) against Georgia Military Reserve Squad. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15PM.
