Women's Tennis Drops Match Against Oglethorpe

Oxford, GA - Freshman Hailey Kim and sophomore Jenna Shin were the lone winners in the match between Emory Oxford women's tennis and Ogelthorpe University. The Eagles lost 6-3 and drop to 3-3 for the season.

In third doubles, Kim and Shin teamed up and defeated their opponent 8-5. Both players continued their win streak as both claimed wins in fifth and sixth singles. Shin claimed a fifth singles victory 6-1, 6-2, while Kim won sixth singles 6-1, 6-0. 

"We played a tougher opponent today but girls played hard," commented Head Coach Pernilla Hardin. "Hailey and Jenna were terrific in their victories."

The Eagles will travel to New Jersey next weekend (October 12-13) to play three tough opponents. On Saturday, they will face Ocean County College at 10:00AM and Camden County College at 3:00PM. On Sunday, they will play Northhampton Community College starting at 10:00AM
