Oakwood, GA - The Emory Oxford men's and women's cross country competed in the 7th Annual University of North Georgia Cross Country Invitational. The women ran a 5k race while the men ran an 8k. There was a total of 116 women competing and 101 men.
The Eagles placed two runners in the top 20 for the women's race and they were sophomore Katie Dorton (20:44) and freshman Grace Johnson (20:48). The top finisher for the men's team was freshman Nathaniel Lechtzine (32:10).
The Eagles will return to action on Sunday (Sept. 22) when they compete in the Blue Tie Run 4 Prostate Cancer event.
