Men’s Basketball Loses to TSF

OXFORD, GA – The Oxford Men's Basketball team had their final exhibition game this past Saturday against The Skills Factory (TSF) from Atlanta, GA. The Eagles lost 85-75. 

The Eagles had 4 players in double figures. Freshman JJ Halaby scored 24 points to lead the Eagles and went 10 of 12 from the charity stripe. Fellow freshman Jermon Clark posted 17 points. Sophomore captains Ryan Kwong and Zane Patel each had 10 points. 

"We have played two very tough teams in this pre-season," stated Roderick Stubbs, Head Coach. "Our team has competed well, but we now look ahead as we prepare to have our first regular season game against another tough opponent." 

The Eagles will open the season against Southern Crescent Technical College this Thursday, November 1st. Tipoff will be at Williams Gym and is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
