Alejandra Medina-Reyes CHL Student Athlete of The Month for March 2020

The Center for Healthful Living (CHL) has recognized Alejandra Medina-Reyes of the women’s soccer team as the March Student Athlete of the Month. This award recognizes a student athlete's commitment to the motto of the CHL: Educate the Mind and Exercise the Body.

Medina-Reyes is from Canton, GA and is currently pursuing a major in Psychology. She is a two-year member of the women’s soccer team, who reached the regional tournament twice including a trip to the regional championship this past season. She was named a team captain this year and was named to the NJCAA Division III Women’s Soccer All-Tournament Team.

Medina-Reyes excels in the classroom as well. In December of 2019, she was named to the Honors List and Alpha Epsilon Upsilon, which recognizes her for her high academic achievements. Outside of the classroom and soccer, she helps out at the CHL as a facilities assistant where she helps with day-to-day activities. She is also a founding member of the Student Athletic Advisory Board, which aims to enhance the student-athlete experience.
