Alex Bryant CHL Student-Athlete of the Month for January 2022

The Center for Healthful Living (C.H.L.) has recognized Alex Bryant of the women's cross-country team as the January Student-Athlete of the Month. This award recognizes a student athlete's commitment to the C.H.L.'s motto: Educate the Mind and Exercise the Body.

Bryant is from Lindenhurst, IL and is pursuing a degree in Computer Science. She is a first-year member of the women's cross-country team and was critical to their success this past year. She finished in 2nd-place at the GCAA Regional Championship, helping her team secure the trophy. She then finished in sixth place at the NJCAA Division III National Championship, helping secure the program's first national title. Bryant was also named an NJCAA Second Team All-American.

Within the Oxford community, Bryant is quite involved. She works as an Intramural Staff Member where she referees for intramural sports, assists at athletic events and was named October 2021 Employee of the Month. Bryant is also a Board Member for the Peer Review Board and a Club Member for Steminists Club.
