Nick Paschetto CHL Student Athlete of The Month for January 2020

The Center for Healthful Living (CHL) has recognized Nick Paschetto of the men’s golf team as the January Student Athlete of the Month. This award recognizes a student athlete's commitment to the motto of the CHL: Educate the Mind and Exercise the Body.

Paschetto is from Dunwoody, GA and is currently pursuing a major in Business Administration. He is a two-year member of the men’s golf team and had one of the most successful freshman campaign in Oxford history. In his first-year, Paschetto qualified for the national tournament after placing as the top Division III golfer in the GCAA Conference Tournament last year. At the NJCAA National Tournament, Paschetto finished in 3rd-place earning him First-Team All-American Honors.

Outside of golf, Paschetto is quite active in the Oxford community. He is the Executive Vice-President for the Oxford Student Government Association (SGA) where he manages a rigorous campaign process oriented toward greater student mental and physical health programs and increased transparency between SGA and the student body. Paschetto is also an Executive Board Member for the Oxford College Business Club and a member of the new Student Athletic Advisory Board. On top of that, he works as a Consultant/Lead Tutor for the Oxford College Writing Center where he tutors and facilitates workshops for students. 

When he is not busy with academics or golf, Paschetto works as a caddie for the Capital City Club, Crabapple where he helps to provide a hospitable club experience and assists members and guests with course management and shot-making advice.
