Cross Country Starts Strong at Middle Georgia

Cross Country Starts Strong at Middle Georgia

The men and women cross country team lived up to the hype for their season opener competing against 100+ competitors at the MGA cross country meet. There were 9 women programs, and 6 men programs.

The women placed 1st and the men placed 2nd. This was the fastest season opener for the men collectively with four of our men placing in the top 10. The women followed their lead with four of our women placing in the top 10 as well. Justin Burton and Emily Rexer were the MVP's for our squad by pulling in the most points finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. The coaches are pleased with the momentum going into the season stating, "We hit the ground running."
