Men's basketball defeated on the road 89-66

Franklin Springs, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's basketball team traveled to take on the Emmanuel University Reserve Squad where they lost to the home team 89-66.

Emory Oxford led the home team 37-32 at halftime, but were unable to keep the lead after a slow start to the second half. Emmanuel built a double digit lead midway through the second, which the home team kept for the remainder of the game.

Freshman Daniel Shin scored a career-high 20 points to lead the Eagles in scoring. Sophomore Zuri Greene had his second double-double in a row with 18 points and 12 rebounds. He also had five assists. 

Fellow sophomore Andrew Anton added nine points and seven rebounds. The Eagles did well from the free throw line, making 20 shots out of 22 attempts for 90.9%. 

The next game for Emory Oxford is against Southern Basketball Academy. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Williams Gym.
