Men's basketball drops game against Southern Basketball Academy 75-68

The Emory Oxford men's basketball team lost a tough game to visiting Southern Basketball Academy Monday evening. The final score was 75-68.

After being down 42-31 at the half, and 30-16 midway through the first, the Eagles were able to climb back to a four point deficit with less than four minutes on the clock after two Zuri Greene free throws. In the end, Southern Basketball Academy was able to hold onto the win. 

Freshman Daniel Shin set a career-high in total points with 26. He also made four three-point goals. Sophomore Greene had his third straight double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds. 

Sophomore Andrew Anton had seven points, six rebounds and seven assists. 

The loss puts the Eagles at 0-3 on the season. The next game for Emory Oxford is against New Rock Prep Academy on Saturday, Nov. 11. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
