Men's basketball defeated by Camp Community College 79-62

Franklin, Va. - The Emory Oxford men's basketball was defeated in a conference matchup on the road by Paul D. Camp Community College 79-62.

The Eagles and Camp Community College played evenly to begin the game, trading the lead back and forth several times. The Hurricanes were able to pull away as the half ended, and went up 36-29 by the time the first half was over.

Emory Oxford fought back and was down by only three points before turnovers allowed the home team to rebuild a sizable lead. 

The Eagles performed well at the free throw line, shooting 81.8%, making nine out of 11 shots.

Sophomore Josh Kim led the Eagles with 19 points. He also had eight rebounds. Freshman Daniel Shin added 16 points and five rebounds. Sophomore Zuri Greene also hit double digit points with 11. Greene had eight rebounds. 

Emory Oxford will travel to face LaGrange College Reserve Squad for its next game. The game will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29.
