The Emory Oxford men's golf team brought sophomore Sahil Malhotra and freshman Luke Koon to their first spring tournament. They competed in the Columbia International Invitational held at Columbia Country Club in Blythewood, South Carolina. The 36-hole tournament was played on the 7043-yard, par-72 course.

On the tournament's first day, Malhotra shot a 90 while Koon opened with a 99. On the second day, the conditions were much more difficult, affecting scoring. However, Koon improved on his first day total by two strokes while Malhotra posted 28-over par.

"This was another good experience for both players," commented Coach Molly McNamara. "They have some good experience to use in preparation for the next tournament. I am proud of Sahil and Luke for their commitment and drive to improve each day and learn from each round."

Up next of the Eagles will be the Bulldog Lake Sinclair Invitational held at The Club at Lake Sinclair in Milledgeville, GA. This tournament will occur from March 28-29.
