Men's golf competes at Snead State Invitational

Union Grove, AL - The Emory Oxford men's golf team faced teams from all over the southeast at the Snead State Invitational, held Sept. 25-26 at the Cherokee Ridge Country Club. 

Sophomore Ryan Huang led the way for the Eagles, finishing in the top 40 out of 90 golfers with a three-day score of 238. Fellow sophomore Peter Wu shot a total of 250.

Sophomore Noah Sidell shot his lowest round on the final day, and improved on his second-round total by eight strokes, from 98 to 90, to bring his three-day total to 281. Sophomore Steven Evangelou finished one stroke behind his teammate.

Also competing for Emory Oxford was Partha Jain. He withdrew before the final round.

The Eagles will continue play in about a month on Oct. 23-24 at the Enterprise State Invitational in Enterprise, Alabama.
