Greensboro, NC - Sophomore Ryan Huang competed in the Pfeiffer University Falcon Shootout, held April 25-26, where he finished in the top 15 in a field of 63 golfers from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA schools. The shootout was played at the 6968-yard, par-72 Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In the first round, Huang shot a 73, which placed him in a tie for sixth place. On the second day, Huang faced tougher conditions and shot a 79, giving him a two-day total of 152, the lowest two-day round total of his collegiate career. During the tournament, he had five birdies.

Huang will next play at the GCAA Regional Tournament on April 15.
