Ryan Huang competes in Emory University Invitational

Conyers, Ga. - Sophomore Ryan Huang competed at the Emory University Invitational, held at the 6885-yard, par-72 Cherokee Run Golf Course in Conyers, Georgia. The invitational was held April 20-21 and featured the nation's top Division III talents.

On the first day, Huang played two rounds, improving his first round total by six strokes by shooting at 79. The second day proved to be more difficult, as Huang had to wait through a rain delay. Despite the weather, he played well, shooting another 79. He played the first 11 holes in even par, including three birdies on holes 12, 14 and 15. On hole 15, he had a near ace. Huang's total for the weekend was 243.

Huang will compete next at the NJCAA DIII Golf National Championship in June, held in Chautauqua, New York.
