Men’s Soccer prevailed late in a hard fought win over Holmes CC 2 to 1

The Eagles took to the road again in a neutral site game on Saturday afternoon versus the Bulldogs of Holmes Community College. The Eagles were able to pull out a hard fought match to win their first game of the season.

"He continued to work and grind and at the end we were able to take advantage of the situation and pull out the victory," commented head coach Gregory Moss-Brown. "I am proud of how the guys hung in there and continued to fight."

Holmes took the lead in the first minute on a goal from Hayes Adcock on an assist from Jaxon Reedy. The Bulldogs maintained the lead until sustaining a red card and the momentum instantly changed.

Minghan Cue scored in the 57 minute on an assist by Haensel Kehoe to tie the game at 1 to 1. Then late in the contest at the 84-minute mark Haensel Kehoe sealed the victory on an assist by Nathan Parson.

The Eagles will play at home versus Georgia Military College Reserve Team on Thursday, September 14th.

Game time is set for 7:00pm.
