Men’s soccer falls to Georgia Military College

Milledgeville, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's soccer team lost to Georgia Military College 10-1 in a Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association matchup.

The Eagles sit at 3-4 overall this season and 1-1 in the conference. GMC is 5-2-1 and 1-0 in the conference.

The Bulldogs, currently ranked No. 11 in NJCAA Division II, dominated the game from the start, scoring all 10 goals in the first half. 

Emory Oxford did not go down without a fight. Sophomore Haensel Kehoe scored the lone goal for the Eagles with three minutes left in the game. Brody Weinfurtner assisted on the play.

In goal for the Eagles, freshman Chris Do made 10 saves, while sophomore Bharat Kalra made two. 

Emory Oxford continues conference play Thursday, Sept. 28 against Andrew College at Bivings Field. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
