Oxford Men's Tennis Captures National Title
The men's tennis team claimed a fourth consecutive NJCAA division III national championship title for Oxford College on May 12, at the conclusion of tournament play in Peachtree City, Ga.
 
The Eagles were dominant throughout, winning all nine flights and not losing even a single set in tournament play. The 2018 championship is the seventh overall for the Eagles, the most in NJCAA DIII history. 
 
Coach Pernilla Hardin, who received the Max Grubbs Coach of the Tournament Award, leads the Oxford team. Anna Hardin serves as the team's assistant coach during the regular season, with Ina Jones as an assistant coach at nationals.
 
"I am proud of how hard and focus the team was this weekend," commented head coach Pernilla Hardin. "They were on a mission and they played with passion and determination."
