Men's tennis defeats visiting Gadsden State 6-3

Oxford, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's tennis team defeated the visiting Gadsden State Community College by a score of 6-3.

In doubles, freshmen Benjamin Xi and Daniel Bernard defeated their opponents by a score of 8-4. 

The Eagles dominated in singles, winning five out of six matches. Bernard (6-3, 4-6, 10-4) and Xi (6-2, 6-0) both won their matches in singles as well. Sophomore Peter Tracy easily won his match by a score of 6-3, 6-0. Also getting wins for Emory Oxford were sophomore Ewan Kim (6-4, 6-1) and freshman Elliot Li (6-3, 6-4).  

The men's and women's teams will both travel on Friday, March 22 to face Piedmont University. The match is set to start at 3 p.m.
