Men's cross country wins GCAA Regional Championship

Milledgeville, Ga. - The men's cross country team won its second straight Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Regional Championship held at Council Farms. The Eagles had three runners in the top five to help secure the top spot.

Sophomore Virat Vishwanadhula took first place with a time of 27:16.27. He was also named Runner of the Year for the conference. Right behind Vishwanahula was teammate freshman Oliver Campbell with a time of 27:54.45 for second place. In fourth was sophomore Timothy Park (28:35.31).

Freshman Joseph Woloszyn finished in the top ten for Emory Oxford with an eighth place finish and a time of 29:08.88.

Also competing for the Eagles were freshmen Paul Goblirsch and Fletcher Martin.

Tony O'Kelley was named Coach of the Year.

Next up for Emory Oxford is the NJCAA Championship on Nov. 11.
