Women's Soccer Battles to a 2-2 Draw on Sophomore Day

The Oxford College of Emory University women's soccer team played their final game of the season on Saturday afternoon against RYSA Revolution. The game ended in a 2-2 draw on a day that honored the Eagles' ten sophomores. 

RYSA scored the opening goal in the 8th minute when Lauren Davis headed the ball into the back of the net after a failed attempt from her teammate. RYSA would hold a 1-0 lead going into the break. 

After being held scoreless for most of the game, the Eagles tied things up in the 64th minute with a goal from freshman Hanna Florence, her sixth of the year. However, RYSA would break the tie in the 73rd minute when Davis netted her second of the game. The tying goal would come in the 82nd minute, with sophomore Doreen Chigozie Okeh scoring her fifth goal of the season. The game would end in a 2-2 draw.
