The Emory Oxford College Women's Soccer team is gearing up to start the 2023 campaign.  They are set to begin the season on Friday, August 25th with a road matchup against Georgia Military College. The women's soccer team has moved from NJCAA Division III to NJCAA Division I.

You are likely to see players playing a variety of positions on the field this season as the Eagles find their rhythm under Interim Head Coach, Ashlynne Bass.

"I am excited to get started with the season, our players have been working hard and looking to improve with each and every practice," commented Coach Bass.

We cannot wait to see some great goals from Hanna Florence(Hinsdale, IL), top scorer from last year return to the offense.

Captain Lily Chappell(Louisville, GA), defender from Georgia returns to the Eagles excited to play. Her sister, Annie also played on the women's soccer team while at Oxford.

First year Sarah Speed, from Columbia, SC, will anchor the defense in the center back position.

We are excited to see captain Bella Garcia, from New Jersey, make big moves in the midfield.

Newcomer Elena Charria, from Minnesota, will be another player to watch in the midfield this season.

The Eagles are looking to build it roster early in the season and develop more cohesiveness as the season progress.
