Women’s Soccer: Eagles lose to Georgia Military College Bulldogs 5 to 0 at Home

The Bulldogs scored within the first minutes of the game and never relinquished the lead in defeating the Eagles of Emory Oxford 5 to 0.

The Emory Oxford women's soccer team is now (1-4-0) on the year and the Bulldogs improved to (4-1).

The Eagles struggled to keep GMC out of their territory, allowing multiple shots to be taken at the Eagles' home goal. The first half ended with GMC up 3 to 0.

The Eagles regrouped and looked to counterattack several times with forward Sarah Speed challenging the Bulldogs defense.

"All though the score did not show it, we actually competed well tonight and had our opportunities," commented head coach Ashlynne Bass.
