Oxford, Ga. - The women's and men's tennis teams took on visiting Piedmont University Thursday afternoon. The teams split, with the women winning 5-4 and the men losing 8-1.

In doubles, freshman Lily Liu and sophomore Yolanda Yang defeated their opponents 8-5. Sophomore Shankari Theivanayagam and Mina Chen won 8-2 over their Piedmont opponents.

Liu continued winning in singles with a score of 8-3. While they didn't win their doubles match, the duo of freshmen Olha Los (8-6) and Marie Chastel (8-5) won separately in singles to help secure the win for the home team. 

Sophomore Peter Tracy won the only match for the men's team (8-2).

This wraps up the fall season for the Eagles. Their official season starts in the spring.
