The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named cross country's Julia Danko as the National Athlete of the Week for NJCAA Division III. This is the second time the sophomore has earned this award, the first coming two weeks ago. Danko is the third Eagle to earn this award multiple times.
Danko raced in her second event of the year this past weekend at the Berry College Invitational, where she finished in 7th-place. In both of her races, she was the top NJCAA runner to finish regardless of division.
