Cross country members named to All-Region team

Four members of the Emory Oxford men's and women's cross country teams were named to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association's All-Region team.

Sophomore Virat Vishwanadhula was named to the men's team, along with being named Runner of the Year. He finished in first place at the GCAA Regional Championship, leading his team to a second consecutive championship. His time was 27:16.27.

Freshman Oliver Campbell was also named to the all-region team after his second place finish (27:54.45). Sophomore Timothy Park was the final men's team member named to the team with his fourth place finish (28:35.31). This is Park's second time being named to the all-region team.

In addition, Tony O'Kelley was named Coach of the Year for the second year in a row.

For the women, sophomore Madeleine Lepley was named to the all-region team after her second place finish (22:43.87). She made the team after narrowly missing it last season.

The cross country teams will next compete at the NJCAA Championships on Nov. 11.
