Oxford, GA - In a tough matchup against NJCAA Division I foe Southern Crescent Technical College, the Emory Oxford men's basketball team lost 71-66. The Eagles are now 0-2 for the season. 

Freshman Shane McCravy led all scorers with 31 points while grabbing 7 rebounds. Classmate Myles Johnson had productive night with 8 points and 7 rebounds. 

The Eagles had another poor shooting performance going 2-for-16 from behind the arc and shooting 55% from the charity stripe. 

"We played a tough team in Southern Crescent, but we cannot expect to win shooting the way we did tonight," stated Roderick Stubbs, Head Coach. 

The Eagles will have their first road test this Saturday (November 9) againts Bryan College Reserve Squad. Tipoff is set for 5:00PM.
