Emory Oxford College Athletics Fowler Memorial Tennis Classic

** THIS IS INFORMATION ON PAST TOURNAMENTS, WE ARE NOT HAVING THIS EVENT THIS YEAR **

Saturday, August 26, 2017 @ The Cline Tennis Center on the Emory Oxford College Campus

The Emory Oxford College Center for Healthful Living is bringing back the Fowler Tennis Tournament, in the form of the Fowler Memorial Tennis Classic. We would like to invite the community to participate as a player, sponsor and spectator. All proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society and Emory Oxford College Athletics.

Emory Oxford College Athletics continues to be grateful to Louise Fowler, benefactress and friend. Tennis in Newton County has grown in popularity beyond Miss Fowler’s dream, and thanks to her, it continues.

Emory Oxford College, Covington, and Newton County, Georgia take pride in claiming Louise Fowler as a native daughter. Louise, with equal pride, on every occasion, enthusiastically affirmed that she was from Covington, Georgia. But the impact that each had on the other will be of lasting value only as it is reflected in the lives of those she taught, and therein is her legacy.
