Eagles' Win Streak Snapped Against Oglethorpe

Brookhaven, GA - The Emory Oxford men's basketball suffered a terrible loss to cross-town rival Oglethorpe University Reserve Squad. Following the 107-67 decision, the Eagles drop to 9-9 for the season. 

The Eagles had a trio of freshmen in double figures and were led by Shane McCravy who scored 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting. McCravy also had team-highs in assist (5) and rebounds (6). Arturo Varela scored 15 points, while Jack Polzin scored 11 points. 

The Stormy Petrels were red hot from three shooting 18-of-35, while shooting 60.3% overall from the field. 

"Things just did not go our way today, but we will recover and get ready for the next game," stated Roderick Stubbs, Head Coach.

The Eagles will travel to North Carolina to face the No. 4-ranked Sandhills Community College. The game will take place at Sandhills with a 3:00PM tipoff.
