Freshman Shane McCravy was recently named the Region 10/Region 17 Player of the Week for January 13-January 19. During that time, he averaged 33.5 PPG, 14.5 RPG, 3.5 APG, and 1 BPG in two victories. He had a career game against Columbia International as he scored 37 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists, all of which were career-highs.

For the season, McCravy has scored 30 points or more in 7 occassions and has had 9 double-doubles. This is the second week in a row in which McCravy has won this award.
