Griffin, GA - The Emory Oxford men's basketball team was defeated by the Tigers of Southern Crescent Technical College 72-68. The Eagles fall to 12-12 for the season while the Tigers improve to 8-17. 

The Eagles had four freshmen in double figures with Jack Polzin leading the way with 25 points on nine-of-18 shooting and 4-of-8 from three. Arturo Varela scored 19 points in the second-half shooting 8-of-15 from the field. Thomas Powell scored 12 points while Shane McCravy was held to a season-low 10 points. McCravy grabbed his 13th double-double of the season by getting 11 rebounds. 

On Saturday (Feb. 15), Oxford will have their final home game of the season against Georgia Highlands Club Team. The Eagles will be honoring their sophomores at the game and tipoff is at 4:00PM.
