Emory Oxford freshman Shane McCravy was recognized by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for his outstanding freshman campaign.
McCravy, a 6-foot-3 forward from Summerville, South Carolina was selected as an Honorable Mention All-American.
A starter in 25 games, McCravy lead the Eagles in scoring and in rebounding averaging 24.6 points-per-game and 9.7 rebounds-per-game. He finished 8th in the nation in scoring while producing a double-double in 15 contests. He finished third on the team in assists, averaging 2.6 per game.
During the season, McCravy was name Region Player of the Week three times, which was the most among players in the Region.
