Men's Golf Competes in the Jefferson State Invitational

The Oxford College of Emory University men's golf team competed in the Jefferson State Invitational at Jasper, AL, on Monday and Tuesday. This was the team's only event for the fall.

Sophomore Sachin Bhasin led the Eagles with a two-day score of 154 (79-75), while freshman Ryan Hsieh shot 80 in the first round and then 83 in the second. Classmate Noah Sidell opened with a 78 on Monday before shooting an 86 the following day. Sophomore Luke Koon and freshman Peter Wu both shot a two-day total of (167). Koon and Wu both opened with an 85 and scored 82 in the final round. Sophomore Doug Markovitz was consistent throughout the two days, shooting 90 twice. To round things out, freshman Steven Evangelou improved his first-round score by ten strokes.
