Men's soccer shut out by Copiah-Lincoln Community College

Birmingham, AL - An early goal was all Copiah-Lincoln Community College needed as the home team defeated Emory Oxford 3-0 Saturday night.

The Wolves scored 15 seconds into the game and added another goal before the end of the first half. Copiah-Lincoln scored again midway through the second half for the final score of the game.

Freshmen Elyes Mezghanni, Gerard Kong, Andrey Kosygin and Brody Weinfurtner all had shots on goal for Emory Oxford.

In goal, freshman Chris Do made five saves for the Eagles, as their record drops to 4-6-1. The Wolves are now 2-5-5 on the season. 

Next up for Emory Oxford is a conference match against Southern Union State Community College at Bivings Field. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
