Men's Soccer

Oxford College of Emory University Athletic Department announced the appointment of Gregory Moss-Brown as the new Head Men's Soccer Coach/Instructor. Before taking the reign of the Men's Program, Moss-Brown had been the coach for the women's team since 2010. During that time, he has managed to reestablish the women's soccer program to a place of national recognition for superior academic success and producing student-athletes who can compete at the regional level and national level.

Moss-Brown has produced two All-Americans, four Regional players, and for the first time in school history, a National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Scholar-Athlete of the Year (given to an All American for their performance in the classroom as well as on the field).  His teams have boasted the prestigious NSCAA Team Academic Award, and each year the NJCAA Academic Team award (team grade point average above 3.0). For the second consecutive year, a women's soccer player has received the distinguished and highest honor given to a student at commencement, the Virgil Y.C. Eady Sophomore Service Award. Lastly, the women's program has qualified for the NJCAA District tournament in three out of the last four years.

Moss-Brown for the past 25 years, has coached a broad range of student-athletes, from high school, club, and the Olympic Development level to collegiate NCAA Divisions I, II, and III as well as NJCAA Collegiate teams.  Gregory holds an undergraduate degree from Hartwick College and a M.Sc. degree from Ithaca College. 

While at Hartwick, Gregory was a two-time NCAA Division I All-American player and later, he returned to coaching for his alma mater, where he was inducted into the Hartwick Hall of Fame. In addition, he was awarded the school's 2001 Millecan Award for Outstanding Dedication and Contributions to Hartwick College Soccer.

He currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Class "A" License, and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier License.

Gregory and his wife Janice have two children, Anna Grace and Maya Faith.
