Oxford, GA - In their first home match of the season, the Emory Oxford men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to the Lions of Emmanuel College. The Eagles drop to 2-3 for the season. 

"We played a much tougher team in Emmanuel today and they got the best of us," commented Head Coach Pernilla Hardin. "However, our guys came out and gave it their best which is all that I ask. We have a young team and we will learn and get better from this."

The Eagles will travel to Piedmont College next Saturday (Feb. 22) to play a 1:00PM match.
